Our Halloween Party is around the corner so gear up for some ghoulish recipes courtesy of my daughter. What is Halloween without bloody deliciousness?

  • 8 Turkey Franks
  • 8 Hotdog Buns
  • 6 cups water
  • Ketchup as desired
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil on the stove.
  2. To make the fingernails, make a small D using a carving knife towards the tip of the hotdog.This will form your nailbed.

  3. Carefully discard the pieces you cut off.
  4. To make the knuckles, make 3 slits 1/4 inch from top and another 1/4 inch from bottom as shown in the pictures

  5. Cut off the tip of the other end, if you so desire (optional)
  6. Boil the hot dogs following package directions. Typically 4-5 mins.
  7. Serve each hotdog finger in a hot dog bun. Load with ketchup making sure to get some ketchup on the bottom of each "severed finger" and the knuckles.
