Hello, my friends!  It’s October again, the year just flew by really quickly didn’t it?  I know many of you are gearing up for a Halloween party. My daughter’s birthday is at the end of the month and she specifically requested a Halloween-themed birthday so Bloody Mary is definitely at the top of my list of must-haves. Well, in this case, it is a Virgin Mary.  No alcohol in this drink. I also did a spooky Halloween version of my virgin sangria. If you have not tried it yet, you are missing out!

Look, I don’t celebrate Halloween nor have I ever made anything for a Halloween party, but somehow I was excited when my daughter made this request. Oh! did I mention my wedding anniversary falls on Halloween? Hence why we do not celebrate anything else on that day but our beautiful union.

Anyway, we decided to things a little differently this year. In honor of my daughter, I am sharing several recipes over the course of this week to celebrate her.  This particular Halloween recipe is a drink that many have tried before, what makes it different is the spookiness that comes with it, as well as the lack of alcohol. Everyone around here is excited already and this ghoulish recipe will be a hit at your Halloween party too.

I have to admit, I enjoyed making this drink. It is simple, yet tasty. This drink is a two-part recipe. You have to make the Bloody Mary as well as the bloody fingers which I did a post on earlier this morning. Make sure you check it out because this Halloween Party Virgin Mary is not complete without the spooky fingers. While you’re at it, don’t forget your costumes. Halloween is nothing without a gruesome costume.

This non-alcoholic version of Blood Mary will have you coming back for more. An awesome Halloween party drink.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces tomato juice.
  • 1 ounce beef stock.
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice.
  • Pinch of celery salt.
  • 1/2 tsp Hot sauce Tobasco
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
  • Pinch Freshly ground black pepper.
Instructions
  1. Pour all ingredients in blender and pulse 3-4 times
